What is Arise?
Through a parish mission, Arise seeks to bring people to an encounter with the person of Christ through dynamic preaching, Eucharistic Adoration, Reconciliation, and praise & worship music.
What is the goal?
To bring Catholics together and foster a personal relationship with Christ through intimate prayer experiences of God's love.
What is the New Evangelization?
A call from Saint Pope John Paul II to proclaim the authentic Gospel to all people, baptized and unbaptized.
Is Arise for me?
Arise is for people of all ages, traditions, and backgrounds.
What are the parish mission talks?
The preaching and opportunity for prayer during the Arise mission nights lays a foundation for the Saturday evening event by softening the heart and equipping the mind to respond to God love with one's whole being.
Do I have to come to all of the mission sessions?
No. Any person can come to one or all of the scheduled mission sessions.
Do I have to be a parishioner to attend?
No. Arise is open to non-parishioners.
How much is it?
Arise is absolutely FREE, but is supported through generous donations. Please see our support page for information on how to support Arise Missions.
How do I invite others?
Tell others that Arise gives people the opportunity to get to know Christ in a more personal way than they have before. Invite them to experience this rich combination of music, sacrament, silence, and community through which they will have a chance to truly encounter the love of God. If you have been to Arise before, speak about your experience. Talk about the music, time for Adoration and confession, and the dynamic preaching that collectively calls everyone to know Christ more deeply.
Feel free to use our Media Kit as well to invite others!
